What Agents Keeper touches on your Mac, what it sends, and how agents are kept in bounds.
Nothing outside our folder without consent
Agents Keeper keeps its data in ~/Library/Application Support/Agents Keeper. Anything outside it, like a shell hook or a change to an agent's configuration, is shown to you first, with the exact file, and only happens if you agree.
What leaves your Mac
No account. No telemetry unless you turn it on. Your transcripts never leave your Mac. The app checks for updates and, if you allow it, sends crash reports. The agents themselves talk to Anthropic or OpenAI as they always do.
Approvals, sandbox and audit
Risky actions are approved only in a native macOS dialog, never by a click inside a web view. Agents run in a sandbox profile and can't use the microphone, camera or screen. Every action is recorded in an audit log you can open from the app.
